48 HOURS IN AUSTRIA.

After spending a busy few days in Salzburg city centre, we embarked on a 1 hour train journey in to the mountains.

I can’t quite explain the feeling that bubbles inside me when I think about my time in Austria, it’s a country that’s captured my heart in a way no other place ever has.

We’d got sightseeing out of our systems, and having already had a sunshine holiday this year, we were both really keen to just spend some time together in the peace and quiet.

And it doesn’t get more idyllic than Grossarl.

I don’t want to waffle on in this blog post about exactly what we did or what you should do - this place is so simplistic in it’s beauty that I think the pictures will tell a better story than I ever could.

But one thing you do need to know, is where to stay. The Grossarler Hof hotel is absolute perfection. From the incredible service, to the best food I’ve ever eaten and the cosy, crazily impressive interior to the stunning view, you couldn’t want for anything more. It’s without doubt, the most breathtaking place I’ve ever been.

Sometimes it takes removing yourself from the noise to see just how beautiful this world really is.
