Mum,
Life hasn't always been easy, it still isn’t. I don’t think either of us envisaged the start of this year to be so very difficult.
Things have happened, things that cause worry and anxiety and pain - but they’ve almost been a blessing in disguise; because we are closer than ever. We’ll go out for lunch and take trips to the cinema, talk about new beauty products and you’ll raid my stash whenever you get the chance. It’s not the be all and end all, but it is special - because it feels like I can give back just a smidgen of what you’ve given me these past 27 years.
