VINTAGE LOUNGEWEAR.

VINTAGE LOUNGEWEAR.

Loungewear. But make it fashion.Perhaps it's something in being a thirty year old that works from home; but comfort pretty much comes above absolutely anything else when I'm getting dressed these days.So when I spotted this on Peony Vintage and I was on a spending ban...I couldn't help myself. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, when a vintage gem appears, snap it up! (Which is probably a quick fire way to bankrupt myself..)I've always been a fan of loungewear. I mean, I absolutely cannot sit at home wearing jeans or anything slightly restrictive, it's just not my jam. But I have a new found love for a two-piece. It just takes comfy casuals to a whole new level. And adding a bit of hand-stitched sparkle, too? Genius. Even the joggers have them![gallery columns="2" link="file" size="large" ids="7534,7538"]The jacket has pockets, as well as the bottoms and I wish I could give the designer of this vintage set a big squeeze, because they just knew what women really wanted.I'm head over heels for all the details, too. The diagonal fastening to the jacket and the oversized fit of the top with an elasticated waist on the bottoms to add shape. Not to mention that it compliments my car rather well, too.And unlike most loungewear pieces, this jacket will go with so many 'regular' outfits. Layered with a mini skirt or paired with some high waisted skinny jeans it would look just as chic. It's certainly taken loungewear to outerwear for me!
