WHAT TO WEAR AS A WEDDING GUEST.

I used to absolutely dread shopping for wedding guest attire. Like, how do you pick something that

  1. you’ll feel comfortable in ALL day
  2. suits both a day and night dress code
  3. isn’t an item of clothing you’ll just throw to the back of your wardrobe never to be seen again

My answer?

These three diamonds.

Lord knows I love me a slip dress and add silk into the mix? Sold.

There’s nothing I want more than to be able to throw on a dress and be done with it. This one drapes beautifully over the body and with a vibrant colour it helps to elevate an otherwise simple design.

The most formal out of the three, but equally as wearable is another silky Sue. The gorgeous cutout neckline and knotted waist add drama, whilst the cut and bell sleeves give a twenties vibe. I’m head over heels for it.

Spicing it up a little with this £20 polka dot number from Boohoo - a high waist isn’t comfy I hear you say? Well this one absolutely is. The skirt has an elasticated waistband, so it sits nice and snug on the waist but also allows for movement) and the top is fastened with a tie at the back, so you can adjust as you please.
