Polka Dot Drop

Missguided Crop Top, Shabby Apple Maxi Skirt*, Chelsea Doll Earrings

 It feels like an age since I’ve sat down to write up an outfit post. Sometimes life gets in the way but I’m happy to say I’m feeling fresh, focused and super excited to get back to blogging more frequently!

I’d be telling fibs if I said I wasn’t utterly in love with this maxi skirt from Shabby Apple. Made of high quality, incredibly comfortable polka dot fabric it really is a dream come true. Granted it’s not your every day staple – but it is the perfect item to add to your princess wardrobe collection. I can just imagine wearing this to a summer birthday party or spring polo event - it’s elegant with a vintage feel and the drop waist makes it incredibly flattering.

I did however want to try and grunge the look up a bit: teaming the skirt with my trusty Missguide crop, throwing my hair in to a half up half down top knot and popping on some gothic inspired earrings it helps to take the look down a notch or two!
