BOHEMIAN IN THE COUNTRY.

Kimono: Love Red Label*. Leggings: Zara. Blouse: Vintage. Fedora: Topshop. Necklace: Ever Ours*. Boots: My Dress Room. Lipstick: Topshop Infrared
I’ve wanted a kimono for as long as I can remember andnot really wearing many bright, floral colours I’ve had a job finding one thatwould suit my monochrome wardrobe. But when Love Red Label got in touch and werekind enough to offer me a piece from their site - I think I did a little wee ofexcitement after spotting this kimono. It’s beauty is almost a littletoo much to handle and for heavens sake it’s flocked velvet, which we all knowis my absolute favourite thing (hence the re-purchase of those famous Zaraleggings I can’t get enough of).
Kimono’s, I find, can be quite the task to style – especiallyif your wardrobe doesn’t particularly cater for that boho, fairy look. So todayI went for something simple and teamed it with a simple blouse and high-waistedleggings. However, I think this could look just as flattering with a supercasual, floaty slip dress, thick black tights and booties.
You and I both know I’m pretty much always in black orwhite clothing, but I do try (most of the time), to add a little pop of colourto my outfits. This beautiful statement necklace from Ever Ours is a beauty tobehold. It gives that burst of colour you need with an outfit like this andmakes what could be quite a grungy look, more feminine. I just love it, andthat’s all I have to say about that.
