FOREVER SUMMER.

This post is sponsored by H&M - but obviously, I love 'em.Chilling out, maxing, relaxing, all cool, munching on strawberries down by the…err…pool? Ok, so the beautiful English summer isn’t quite as guaranteed as it might be in sunny Bel Air, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to get outside and fill my lungs with fresh air at every opportunity. We have a limited patch of warm, dry days here and I have sworn to myself to make the most of every single second of sumptuous summer this year. Most recently I’ve found myself bidding adieu to the countryside for days at a time and heading into the big smoke for meetings, launches, lunches with brands or just catching up with my collective of beautiful, capital-bound chums. When I used to think of sunnier days, it would be my favourite stretches of panoramic countryside views near home, with the sun setting between the trees, or splashing around in the waves or pools of my recent wanders. However with the sun showing us her pretty face more and more as of late, I have found solace in just how glorious the city can be in summer too.London is a city blessed with greenery and the juxtaposition between the hustle and bustle and the pockets of calm are just one of the reasons the city is so appealing. I caught up with Hayley for lunch this past week when in town, and rather than head to a nearby restaurant like we usually would, we decided to hit the supermarket, grab some supplies and set up camp for a little picnic in the window of time we had between both our busy days schedule. While the sun wasn’t at her brightest we were still able to bask in the fresh warm air and lush green grass whilst enjoying English classics like cream cakes and strawberries.

And in order to make the most of the summer while still being primed for city living I need my outfit to be versatile but still with maintain the pop and sense of ‘me’, I want. When it comes to the summer months my monochrome wardrobe is (somewhat) left at the door. I love to embrace a little colour and these trousers couldn’t say that any louder - with the bold colour and print matching my hair they’re clearly an instant winner. I love the soft flowing fabric, with a relaxed fit making the perfect staple for beach attire or casual weekends. And the top follows suit - it’s incredibly breathable, comfortable and offers a bohemian vibe. Both it and the trousers fit in well to my ‘sack’-like wardrobe whilst still looking on-trend - winner.I’m also head over heels with these sandals (pun totally intended) - real suede, the most flattering fit and an option to tie them up the leg, they’re pretty much all singing, all dancing and perfect for any summer occasion.I really do love summer days, and in order to meet my commitment to myself to squeeze every last drop out of it this year I’m making sure I’m primed to bask in its glory wherever I maybe; be it in the city, the countryside or chilling on the coast. I’d love to know some of your favourite spots to enjoy Summer, too?
